You'll get more chances to win as a Motorious reader.
In 1989, these 36 classic Corvettes were raffled off for the first time but before the winner even claimed his prize, the cars were sold to pop artist Peter Max. Originally intending to incorporate the collection into a piece of his artwork, he ultimately scrapped the idea and the cars were forgotten about and left to rot in a New York City parking garage.
The Lost Corvette Collection has since been rescued and restored and is now scheduled to be raffled again. This time to 36 different owners. Because of the massive size of this collection, the giveaway has been broken up into parts. Round one went off without a hitch and the first 10 cars have been awarded to their proud new owners but there are still 26 more that can be won.
For a donation of as little as $3.00, contestants can be entered to win one of the remaining 26 Lost Corvettes. However, the more you donate, the more raffle tickets you will get, therefore increasing your odds of taking home one of these awesome cars. For example, a $5,000.00 donation will get you 7,200 tickets and as a Motorious reader you can get to double those tickets.
The next raffle is scheduled for March 31, 2021 and the remaining model years are 1953, 1955, 1956, 1958, through 1962, 1966 through 1971, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1987, and 1989. The proceeds from your donations to the Lost Corvette Giveaway go to benefit the charity Stand for the Troops. The charity supports America's military veterans. This is a great opportunity to win an awesome Corvette while giving back to those that gave up so much for us and though time is running out it’s not too late just yet.
