The rivals take to the track!
In a thrilling display of modified muscle, a yellow Toyota GR Supra squared off against a Ford Mustang GT and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Bradenton Motorsport Park (BMP). Captured by the Drag Racing and Car Stuff YouTube channel, the event delivered intense 'Import versus Domestic' drag races, drawing attention to the unlikely star of the night—the Supra.
All three cars were modified, participating in 9.5-second bracket racing, which meant they were pushing serious power. The first battle between the GR Supra and Mustang GT saw the nimble coupe win with a 9.81-second pass compared to the Mustang's 9.9 seconds. In the rematch, the Supra extended its dominance, posting an even quicker 9.52 seconds, while the Mustang struggled with a 10.05-second run.
The Supra then faced off against the formidable Camaro ZL1. Despite the Camaro's immense power, it was too quick for its own good, disqualifying itself in the 9.5-second bracket by posting a 9.23-second time. The Supra, staying within limits, clocked in at 9.32 seconds, securing another win.
The Toyota GR Supra showed it was a force to be reckoned with, proving that sometimes smaller, more agile machines can outperform even the biggest American muscle on the dragstrip.
