Maserati brings vintage and modern elegance to Rome’s premier luxury car event with iconic classics and performance models.
Maserati is taking center stage at the inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma 2025, a premier luxury automotive event showcasing the finest classic and modern Italian vehicles in the heart of the Eternal City. Set against the backdrop of Rome’s historic grandeur, the event runs from April 24 to 27, blending “La Dolce Vita” nostalgia with the enduring allure of Italian engineering and design.
At the forefront of Maserati’s exhibit is the A6GCS-53 Berlinetta Pininfarina, a rare 1950s-era coupe displayed at the prestigious Casina Valadier in Villa Borghese park. Known for its seamless integration of racing performance and road-going elegance, the Berlinetta symbolizes a pivotal shift in automotive history. Originally built between 1954 and 1955, the car features an inline-six engine producing 170 CV and a top speed of 235 km/h. The Pininfarina-designed bodywork debuted at the 1954 Turin Motor Show, bridging the gap between raw motorsport machinery and refined grand touring.
Maserati’s presence at the Concorso Roma is part of its Maserati Classiche program, an initiative dedicated to preserving and authenticating the marque’s rich heritage. Through this program, collectors receive specialized support and access to official certification for their vintage models.
In addition to the historic lineup, Maserati is also showcasing its modern craftsmanship with the GranCabrio Trofeo and Grecale SUV. These vehicles are being used for guest transportation between central Rome and Castel Gandolfo, underscoring the brand’s ongoing commitment to luxury and performance.
The three-day event includes a classic car parade, a concours d’élégance judged by an expert panel, and a Sunday awards ceremony. For Maserati, the occasion offers a fitting platform to highlight both its storied past and forward-looking future in Italian motoring excellence.
