...like rubber after a burnout!
If you were to ask a connoisseur of the art of comedy who they looked up to in the industry, the name Kevin Hart would probably come soon after. While he is usually known for his vibrant energy, positive attitude, and hilarious improvisational skills the car community also knows him quite well. This is due to his love for all things classic in an automotive sense. His vast collection of vintage vehicles such as his black convertible Pontiac GTO, Mustang GT500, and other American icons has put a spotlight on the comic’s passion for cars. This is best showcased with today’s example, a gorgeous resto-modded 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.
Under the hood is an incredible de-stroked LSX based 380 ci LS7 V8 which pushes out a ridiculous 650 horsepower and 680 ft/lb of torque. That insane power is transferred to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission which makes the perfect driving experience from the always energetic Kevin Hart. The rear end is a sturdy Ford nine-inch which has a great reputation for being one of the best high-performance rear ends on the market. Those rear tires also had to be ready, willing, and able to take on the wrath of 650 horses so the builder went with a set of 355s in the back and 305s in the front.
The interior is truly astonishing with extreme attention to detail paid to every aspect of the inside of this beast. Brown and black leather grace every inch of the dash, door panels, and center console which is perfectly complemented by the bucket seats and floor of the same color scheme. This interior allows the driver to achieve a state of great comfort while, at the same time, ripping through corners and burning rubber like nobody's business. This is an awesome car and the fact that it currently sits within the collection of one of the great comics of all time just makes it even better.
