This is quite the classic Ford stash.
The classic car community has an extremely varied collection of different subgenres. This can range from older speed chasers who love to modify and race their beloved muscle car, or it may just be somebody looking to invest. Regardless of their motives, they all agree. These cars are fun! As far as brands go, it's difficult not to mention the big three GM, Dodge, and Ford. While today we know these brands as only producing one or two high-performance vehicles, in the past almost every car you could buy from these companies would be an instant classic just a short few decades later. When most people think of a classic car they may picture in their head an image of a sleek 1969 Dodge Charger or ‘Cuda. However today we are going farther back in time to the 1930s.
Specifically to 1934, this is because of a barn full of these fantastic Fords. This vast collection includes several parts cars, “restorations”, and oddly enough a few cars imported from Argentina. This house of automotive horrors looks to be a disheveled graveyard to most, but for the right enthusiasts, they see it as a gold mine. 10s of these fine Ford automobiles scatter the property on which this barn was built.
This particular buyer intends to purchase the entire stock of cars in bulk and use them for various purposes including parting out, selling, restoring, etc. However, even in their current form, it is still incredible to be able to see an entire building of cars completely and solely responsible for telling the story of their generation. The 1930s were a time of hardship, pain, and suffering for many of the people at the time. As unfortunate as that is, it reflects entirely on the current condition of these cars, and just as the economy was brought back up in the early 1940s, so too shall these cars be brought forth to fulfill a greater purpose in the future.
