This ultra-high-performance Mustang pays homage to the car’s racing legacy—from its first major win at the 1964 Tour de France to becoming the first American production car to lap the Nürburgring in under seven minutes.
A Design That Honors Racing History
The Mustang GTD Spirit of America features an exclusive Performance White body, accentuated by Race Red and Lightning Blue twin racing stripes that mirror Mustang’s iconic tribar logo from 1964. The color scheme is also a nod to Craig Breedlove’s legendary speed records, whose jet-powered land speed runs in the 1960s proved that American engineering could challenge Europe’s elite.
Carbon fiber plays a prominent role in the GTD Spirit of America’s aerodynamic design, appearing on the front splitter, rear diffuser, and massive rear wing. The spoiler’s underside features a bold “MUSTANG” wordmark, making a clear statement to anyone trailing behind. Other key design elements include Race Red calipers, optional carbon-fiber or Race Red mirror caps, and Victory Blue contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
