Classic 1939 Ford Stolen from Breinigsville Hotel

Police seek public’s help.


Police in Allentown are actively searching for a stolen classic car, a 1939 Ford Coast to Coast, which was taken from a hotel in the Breinigsville area on August 22. The vehicle was in town for a major annual car show and was being transported in an enclosed trailer at the time of the theft.

According to a statement from the Allentown Police Department, the classic car was stolen from the hotel parking lot by a suspect driving a white Ford truck. Surveillance footage shows the truck backing up to the trailer and driving off with the enclosed trailer containing the 1939 Ford.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the stolen vehicle or the suspect’s truck to come forward. Tips can be directed to Detective Sal Aprile of the Lehigh County Auto Theft Task Force at 610-264-8758 or Detective Adam Miller of the Upper Macungie police at 484-661-5911.
