Broad Arrow Auctions' third annual Monterey event achieves $71.5 million in sales with a new runway-style format and record attendance.

Broad Arrow Auctions, a Hagerty company, made a triumphant return to California for its third annual Monterey Auction, held from August 14-15 at the Monterey Jet Center. The two-day event was a resounding success, generating an impressive $71.5 million in total sales with 85% of all lots sold.

The 2024 auction introduced a novel runway-style auction block format, which was enthusiastically received by collectors and industry professionals. The event also marked a new milestone in attendance, with 42% of bidders registering for the first time. The auction kicked off on Wednesday evening alongside Motorlux, a vibrant celebration of cars, craft, and community, hosted by Hagerty at the Monterey Jet Center.

Broad Arrow Auctions expressed its gratitude to all the bidders, consignors, and guests who contributed to the success of the event. The company is now eagerly anticipating its next auction in Chattanooga on October 12. Full results from the Monterey Auction are available on their website.
