This was for the Medford Cruise Classic Car Show.
Every June, classic car fans descend on Medford, Oregon, which is in the southern part of the state. The Medford Cruise is becoming an increasingly bigger draw, no doubt because of the eclectic nature of the gathering. There’s really a little bit of something for everyone: muscle cars, hot rods, lowriders, Japanese classics, motorcycles, and pretty much anything else you can imagine and then some. Watch the video below of read on to learn more.
There are simply too many cool cars shown in the video to even try to mention them all. Some of the highlights include a 1955 Powell Sport Wagon, which is quite the unusual and extremely rare pickup truck. There’s also a very tasteful 1965 Chevrolet Impala lowrider, a 1958 Chevrolet Apache Stepside pickup, and a 1967 Chrysler Town & Country. And that weird muffler-shaped car deserves a mention, because wow.
Another one of the unusual classics featured in the video is a 1951 Kaiser Traveler Deluxe 2-Door. The owner claims a mere 376 of that specific model were made, a number which is extremely low. As we know with unusual classics, a good chunk of those, maybe even the majority haven’t survived to modern times. That’s too bad, because it’s a good-looking car most people would be proud to show off today.
While the cars in the video certainly are fantastic, you can’t help but notice the scenery as well. Good-looking vehicles are even better when there’s a picturesque backdrop, especially as they take the cruise through the tree-lined wilderness areas outside of Medford.
The 2020 Medford Cruise Classic Car Show has been set for June 12-20. Plenty of interesting events are planned during the week-plus run, like an All Makes All Models All Years Show ‘n Shine, Drift Event, and the popular Poke Run Celebration.
