Noteworthy new design features include dual eyebrow-covered headlights, a front grille within a big chrome bumper, and a scooped hood. The curved glass windshield out back and hardtop roofline are very reminiscent of the two-seater models. On the rear of this car, you’ll see a slight use of fins that finish off the top of the oval triple taillights. The entire ride sits on 14-inch chromed wire wheels at all four corners.
This Thunderbird boasts its original black leather interior with space-age-style front bucket seats and a curving rear bench. A simple black center console houses the power window switches. As it rises to the dash, a circular airflow and temperature panel is seen below the working AM radio. The dashboard is a dual-eyebrow design in padded black vinyl for the top, and ribbed aluminum for the gauge cluster and glovebox. The original white steering wheel is crack-free and very comfortable. This '60's beauty is powered by a simple but elegant 352 cubic-inch V8 motor that sits in a very clean engine bay. It is topped with a single four-barrel carburetor and backed up by a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. For the rear axle, a 9-inch 3.10 gear setup is noted.
