The CTS-V is the perfect modern American muscle car.
Since it was introduced in 2004, the Cadillac CTS-V has stood as one of the shining examples of American performance going toe to toe with high-powered luxury sedans from Germany. That, combined with Cadillac's decision to kill off the beloved CTS-V, should make these cars appreciating collector cars, and this lightly modified 2009 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan being sold by Classic Cars of Sarasota is a beautiful, well-preserved example.
Introduced for the 2009 model year, the second-gen CTS-V was available in sedan, coupe and station wagon form, and they were pretty common cars as far as performance vehicles go. For that reason, many of these cars were heavily modified and usually beaten on pretty hard, so it's hard to find one in good shape like this one. The owner of this 2009 Cadillac CTS-V sedan has obviously added some custom touches to the car, but for the most part, the bones of this sport sedan have been left unmolested.
To give this CTS-V a sinister look, all of the car's chrome has been blacked out, the factory wheels have been powder coated and smoked headlight and taillight covers were added to finish off the monochromatic look. Beyond that, this CTS-V has an aftermarket carbon fiber hood as well as ground effects that includes a front splitter.
Inside, a set of A-pillar gauges (for air/fuel ratio, boost pressure and oil pressure) and a dash-mounted gauge for nitrous pressure. Other than the addition of NOS, this car has also been upgraded with a cold air kit and beefier brakes. In stock form, the CTS-V Sedan's 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 pumps out 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque, but it isn't clear what these upgrades have done to the engine's output. Even though the car is 10 years old, it still has less than 80,000 miles as further proof that this sport sedan has been well taken care of in its days.
Classic Cars of Sarasota has this 2009 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan listed for $31,555, so you better act fast if you want this gorgeous four-door sports car in your collection. You can always click HERE to make an offer.
