When looking for an investment vehicle or even something you’re going to use for pleasure, finding a numbers-matching ride is always a wise move. You get plenty more goodies with this Chevy Corvette. It comes loaded with a posi rear and power steering, as well as power brakes, so the car’s much easier to control. Also installed in the factory, air conditioning, power windows, and tinted glass help with your comfort when the weather turns hot again.
A beautiful coat of Silver Pearl goes great with the Stingray styling on this Chevy Corvette. For 1967 GM designers added five-slot fender vents and a hood design you can only find for this model year, which features a scoop and a contrasting “stringer” stripe. In this case, the stripe is a nice aggressive black, matching the interior.
Speaking of the interior, it looks essentially perfect, with what appears to be fresh upholstery and carpeting. The dash as well as all the gauges and controls are original. So is the steering wheel and shifter, ensuring you get a completely genuine experience with this car.
The C2 or second-generation Chevrolet Corvettes ran from the 1963 to 1967 model years, so this one is part of that last model year. This particular C2 Corvette has a known history. It rolled off the production line on January 11, 1967. It was with the original owner in New York for 45 years, then purchased in 2012 an taken to Virginia.
