A stunning yet capable off-road Bronco powered by a 331cui V8 stroker!
There's just something appealing about a first-generation Bronco that pulls at your heartstrings. The vintage SUV is a hot commodity and is highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. The fine example you see here is no different, although it may offer even more appeal to the off-road crowd. Streetside Classics is excited to offer this attractive 1977 Ford Bronco 4x4 complete with fuel injection.
With its original sheetmetal finished in a stunning shade of light blue, this first-generation Bronco is as attractive as it is capable. A color-matched grille has been installed on the front further adding to its attractive aesthetic, and chrome accents such as the step bars and front and rear bumpers certainly add to the old-school appeal. For protection, sturdy roll bars are apparent and have been painted white.
Powering this classic Bronco is a 331cui stroked V8 engine backed by a smooth-shifting 3-speed manual transmission. Good for 400-horsepower and plenty of torque, the large V8 has been given a pair of aftermarket aluminum heads that are fed by an FI Tech fuel injection system perched atop an Edelbrock intake manifold. To keep temperatures in check is a large aluminum radiator that utilizes an electric fan. Even more, a Flowmaster dual exhaust setup provides extra rumble and performance. Power steering allows for easy navigating, and power disc brakes on all four corners bring all power to a halt. Also, it only has accumulated 801 miles since build completion.
Ready to bring endless off-road adventures and conquer any rough terrain thrown its way, the four-wheel-drive option works perfectly and sits within easy reach. A moderate 3-inch lift offers plenty of ground clearance without sacrificing ride quality, and a set of 15-inch wheels come wrapped with 33x12.5LT15 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that are ready to throw down on the road less traveled.
Take a peek inside the partially open cabin to beautiful parchment-colored seats with buckets up front a large bench spanning the rear. Embedded in the dash are white-faced Equus gauges to monitor all important vital signs along with a vintage-style stereo that plays jams through Kenwood speakers mounted below. An aftermarket steering wheel was installed, and even cupholders can be found in the center console. No carpet can be found on this off-road ready beast as the entire floor has been sprayed with liner for easy protection.
