This ride is absolutely stunning.
Cars these days only wish they could be as cool as this 1958 Chevrolet Impala. This is a real head-turner that cruises smooth as glass and has the paint to match. Thanks to an exhaustive restoration process, you get plenty of the factory features and optional upgrades, making this a sort of classroom on wheels. The sunlight absolutely gleams off the mirror finish Rio Red paint with the correct 854 code, so this ride looks just as it should. Of course, there’s plenty of chrome trim to further the shine, plus show wax and professional detailing. Even on close inspection the body looks stunning.
When it comes to the interior, it’s anything but a letdown. The 923A Code Red bench seat matches what this ride had rolling off the factory line, plus it jazzes things up with Red/Gray/Black inserts. The original factory dash is in excellent condition, plus it’s complimented by brushed aluminum trim and the factory gauges, including the ultra-cool 120 mph speedometer. The original steering wheel and AM radio help preserve the genuine look and feel of this classic ride.
Not only does this Chevy Impala look cool, it has the get-up-and-go to back all that up. The optional W-Code 348 cubic-inch “Turbo-Thrust” V8 with 4-barrel carburetor fuels some serious acceleration. It works with a “Power-Glide” automatic transmission for smooth operation, so you can sit back and just enjoy your time behind the wheel. A dual exhaust adds just the right exhaust note, so you can roll down the windows and enjoy.
Chevrolet only made this body style of the Impala for the 1958 model year, plus the number of survivors is constantly dwindling, so you don’t see ones that look like this much at all. The fact this ride has been so thoroughly restored makes it a true standout and a wonderful investment.
