This Hellcat promises fun on the road or track.
You can always count on Petty’s Garage to take a car that’s already wonderful and push it to the next level. This 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the perfect example. After being tweaked in several strategic ways, it will leave you wondering why you ever entertained the thought of owning a Demon.
Petty’s Garage did a solid build on this Hellcat, pushing peak out put to a thunderous 825-horsepower from the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. In stock form the car produced 707-horsepower, so that’s a nice uplift. The team installed a pulley kit, plus upgraded spark plugs as well as fuel injectors. From there, the PCM was unlocked, a custom Petty’s Garage tune was loaded, and a DiabloSport Trinity handheld tuner was included, so you can play further with this amazing machine.
Power is great, but controlling that power is golden. To help with that, this car wears a Petty’s Garage Hellcat strut tower brace, stiffening everything up so you keep the rubber to the road. And upgraded driveshaft also helps put more of that power to the wheels, where it really counts.
That’s an amazing setup, but you need to make it well-known that this Hellcat should not be messed with. A Kooks exhaust system does just that with a throaty quality. Petty’s Garage added a custom rear fascia, truly setting this Hellcat apart from the rest. These are intimidating machines in person, and the black paint job that’s shined to perfection goes perfectly with the in-your-face styling. Gray stripes run from nose to tail, adding a sporty flair to the serious setup.
Hailed for producing the kind of power people normally associate with supercars, the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has become a thing of legend. 2016 was the first year of production for the Hellcat, making this particular car collectible for that fact alone. Add to that the professional upgrades from Petty’s Garage and this is a vehicle you can invest in for the future while having plenty of fun now.
