This Pro Street Camaro features a supercharged big block engine.
If you’re looking for a powerful Chevrolet with a bright green paint job and a V8 engine, this is your week. Yesterday, we featured a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pro Street truck, and now, here’s a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pro Street with a supercharged engine and a host of other modifications.
Hollywood Motors in West Babylon, New York offers this customized Camaro for sale. Unfortunately, the advertisement doesn’t provide a ton of details, but it does mention some of the impressive performance upgrades this car possesses.
The exterior features a bright green exterior paint color, plus a cowl hood with a big blower scoop integrated. There are also custom wheels with large tires out back, which fit under a tubbed wheel well.
Surprisingly, the cabin of this menacing ‘Maro has a full interior, complete with stock door panels, leather seats, and carpeting, though in order to accommodate the tubbed rear wheel well, the rear seat needed removal. There’s also plenty of gauges and an interesting roll cage setup that opens with the doors, allowing for easier access to the interior.
Though this Camaro rolled off the assembly line with a 350 cubic inch V8 engine, that’s long gone. There’s now a supercharged 454 cubic inch engine under the hood, which pairs to a 3-speed automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels. The brake system consists of components from both Wilwood and Aerospace, while there’s a 9-inch Ford rear differential with 3.90 gearing out back. The seller claims there is 7,313 miles on this build, though there aren’t any specifications on important figures such as horsepower or quarter mile times.
