The successor to the L.A Concours D’Elegance is featuring over 400 of the finest automobiles from across the world.
As one of the many events on offer via the Classic Car Club of America, and an example of the best premium concours level exhibitions in South California, the San Marino Motor Classic will take place this weekend.
The successor to the Los Angeles Concours D’Elegance is playing host to over 400 impeccable collector classics on June 9th in Lacy Park.

Established in 2011, the event saw roaring success, raising as much as $120,000 for its beneficiary charities that year, including the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA and the Rotary Club of San Marino. To date, over $1.9 million has been raised.This year an additional charity will be among the two aforementioned organizations; the Cancer Support Community Pasadena.
A range of classes will be represented with 41 for this years event, encompassing many different marques and eras from brass and nickel era cars all the way up to the latest supercars available.
Not only will American cars make up the generous fleet, however. A whole host of beguiling and highly collectible European models will join the display. The Ferrari Club of America will also be taking part, hosting the Concorso Ferrari where by around 100 of the prancing horses finest will be offered on display.
Along with the huge variety of manufacturers on display, a plethora of awards will be on offer to participants. Some of the most prestigious awards from the 2012 show included: Best In Show, Most Elegant – Closed Car, Most Elegant – Open Car, Mayor’s Trophy – Most Significant Race Car. Art Center College of Design – “Design in Excellence Award”, Rotary Trophy – Best Woody and Meguiar’s Trophy – Best Paint and Finish.
The cars displayed are guaranteed to have fascinating histories, with a showcase that encompasses everything there is to love about the industry that we all follow with a passion.
