Back in August of 2017, BJ Motors and Viper Exchange took to the Nürburgring track in Germany in two GTS-R Vipers off the showroom floor to try and set the fastest production vehicle lap record in a private, crowd-funded effort. At the Nürburgring track, the GTS-Rs laid down a break-neck 7:01 lap time. After this feat, they then built 5 of these Commemorative Edition cars to represent their accomplishments.
Powering the unique Viper is a potent 8.4-liter V10 engine that is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. GTS-R Nürburgring Commemorative Edition is equipped with Customer Preferred Package, Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, ACR Interior Package, ACR Package, GTS-R Final Edition Package, Extreme Aero Package, Header Red seat belts, and a Gas Guzzler Tax for a total MSRP of $145,340. All five models features identical decals and various sponsors, names of those involved with the builds.
