This thing really got quite the overhaul.
If you really want to make an entrance at any event, this 1952 Chevrolet Cab Over Ramp Truck is guaranteed to do the trick. What’s more, this thing is a true workhorse, proving that brawns and beauty can be mixed in one amazing package. Classic Auto Mall has brought us this truly breathtaking and quite unique ride, proving you’re never too old to play with trucks.
Imagine if you used this classic truck to haul your classic cars. The cab wears a 2-stage black and GMC Permanent Red paint coat, which looks just downright classy. For good measure, Librandi Chrome was applied to the grille, bumper, etc. for the perfect look. A polished steel sun visor preserves the vintage vibe.
It gets even better when you dig into the ramp, which was donated by a 1971 Chevy C30. After a good rust removal, plenty of black bed liner paint was slathered onto everything. To ensure optimal functionality, the ramp has custom storage doors for stashing tools and other equipment, a mounted super winch, multiple hold downs.
As for the interior, it got the complete treatment with new upholstery, headliner, door panels, new gauges, and even a custom coffee cup holder for when you need to fuel the driver. To top off the cabin coolness, there’s a Lokar shifter plus a dash with Permanent Red and chrome treatments.
This truck received a heart transplant from a Ford F-350 box truck, so a mighty 7.3-liter Powerstroke breathes life and ensures you can haul without problems. This Frankenstein project gets even better when you move to the chassis, which started out in a 1986 1-ton dually and was elongated by 45 inches, then treated to a nice powder coat. The addition of a Class IV trailer hitch and Dana Dually 4.0 ratio rear allow you to haul pretty much whatever you want or need.
To call this a unique classic truck to own is a gross understatement. The level of detail applied to every aspect of this build will impress even the most discerning examinations.
