Did you make it out this year?
As summer is racing to a close in a few weeks, the car show season will start to wind down soon. Before the heat dies down, one of the biggest enthusiasts shows in the country is hosted in Detroit for the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, and our team was there to check out the cars, host a digital car show, and introduce our new Motorious app for the first time to the public.
This event is open to car enthusiasts of all likes, and is not just limited to those who own concours correct vehicles - while there were plenty of those on hand as well. Woodward attracts car lovers by the hundreds of thousands, and cars by the thousands are on display for everyone to enjoy and reconnect with the art of the automobile.
Woodward isn’t just a local attraction, people from all over the country drive in, tow in, and fly in to join in on the fun. It’s an event you’ll see familiar faces at year after next, but you’ll also always meet someone new, and maybe even see a car you’ve never gotten to in person before. The common bond is what brings everyone out to enjoy the automotive celebration.
Before the show kicked off, we told you about our digital car show, hosted by Motorious during the cruise. All participants had to do was fill out a form, put a windshield banner on the car, and upload the pictures of their car with the Motorious banner here (www.motorious.com/app).
As outlined in our prior article, and with tons more information to come soon, our Motorious app was a huge hit with show-goers who got the firsthand demonstration of how it works. Even though Woodward is over, we look forward to staying connected to fellow enthusiasts through it, and seeing new and familiar faces in 2020.
