This year, the event relocates to Tyler Perry Studios.
The 2019 Atlanta Concour D’Elegance will be hosted at the Tyler Perry Studios property this year. The premier auto show showcases hundreds of vintage and modern-day cars from some of the most valuable and rarest collections nationwide. The new location blends the historic atmosphere with the vibrant Atlanta community and brings thousands of enthusiasts, spectators, and their families together. The full weekend experience highlights different vehicles each day, along with a variety of fun events and activities for everybody.
The previous three Concours events took place at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. The 2019 show will be held on the Fort McPherson parade field at the Tyler Perry Studios property, which is part of the 330-acre complex that the film mogul purchased back in 2015.
This season’s event sees more changes than just a new site. Other exciting happenings include: Invitational Cars and Coffee at the Concours; the Magnificent Seven Competition; a Lifestyle Merchants Market; and Icon Cars of the Stars showcasing celebrity automobiles. Bentley is the 2019 event’s featured marque and will be celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary with displays from vintage years to the present day.
A “Reunion of the automobiles built by the Thomas Manufacturing Company” display will showcase a unique “Brass Era” collection of vehicles from 1900 to 1919. This collection includes the famous “Thomas Flyer,” which won the 1908 New York to Paris Race – regarded as history’s first and only around-the-globe automobile race.
The 2019 Atlanta Concours D’Elegance will run from Saturday, October 19 until Sunday, October 20. The first day includes the Invitational Cars and Coffee at the Concours. Certain featured cars selected by the Atlanta Concours D’Elegance team that will also compete in the Magnificent Seven Competition. The second day will hold the highly anticipated 4th Annual Atlanta Concours d’Elegance Competition.
The Atlanta Concours takes pride in presenting super rare, seldom seen, expensive, and immacult cars built from 1900 to 1968. Their mission is to present 180 to 200 automobiles that truly represent the "art of the car” and, oftentimes, are vehicles that you have never come across before. It’s truly a sight to see and an incredible event to experience. Concours vehicles are always a true delight to witness and a commendable accomplishment all the same.
