This drop-top supercar is being auctioned off soon.
Billed as a supercar you could potentially drive on a daily basis, this 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder combines potent performance with civil driving dynamics. This was quite the machine when new, retailing for an MSRP of $268,000 and now thanks to The Republic Auction Co., you could put in your own garage. The auction is taking place November 22 and 23 in Dallas, Texas.
All those aggressive geometric shapes which make Lamborghini famous wear a nice coat of Aranco Borealis Tri-Coat, a color which is just so eye-catching. Everything rolls on 19-inch Callisto Silver wheels, which have some design flourishes but are restrained enough to really make an impact. This is the kind of vehicle people stop and notice, it’s so unique and dominating in its appearance.
Speaking of dominance, even by today’s standards the 5.0-liter V10 engine is a force to be reckoned with. You might think keeping all that power in check is a struggle, but all-wheel drive and an E-Gear transmission keep everything well in check.
Suffering is not in the equation with this Lamborghini. After all, the bucket seat are wrapped in black Nero Perseus leather and contain heaters for driving in the cold. The optional Comfort Package includes comfort suspension, so you’re not feeling every bump in the road. Dual-zone climate control is another nice touch, as is navigation and a rearview camera. If you ever get tired of listening to that V10 roaring behind your head, there’s an AM/FM stereo with CD player plus MP3 and RDS capability.
