With low miles, this workhorse was mostly kept in the stable.
People love their F-150s, a full-size truck that can tow and haul all kinds of large loads. They also work well for getting through rugged terrain and dealing with difficult road conditions, making for the ultimate work vehicle. That’s why it’s amazing this 1995 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 is in near-mint condition and low mileage. Finding one this well-preserved is quite the challenge.
From bumper to bumper, this truck is in amazing condition. No rust is present anywhere, including the underside, and there’s no damage to the panels or anywhere else on the exterior. The dark blue and white paint job shines up like this truck is new, plus the wheels, bumpers, exterior handles, bed rails, and trim are immaculate in their appearance. Even the doors open and shut without any difficulty, while the running boards have only a few scrapes from light use. If you look in the bed, it’s entirely possible it’s never hauled anything, or at least nothing that would cause gouges or scrapes of any kind.
As you slide into the cab, you’re transported back to the mid-1990s. It almost looks as if nobody used the truck at all, thanks to the absence of stains or damage in the original upholstery and carpeting. In addition, the blue plastics on the dash and doors, plus the black plastics for the controls, steering wheel,, etc. don’t show signs of fading or cracking, other than a small crack on the passenger’s side dashboard and slight wear by the headlight control.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, which is the preferred engine for this generation. The truck runs smoothly and everything works, including the factory air conditioning.
Ranging from the 1992 to 1996 model years, the ninth generation of the Ford F-Series changed the front fascia and hood to be more aerodynamic than before. For 1995, the F-Series became the world’s best-selling vehicle, making it an especially important landmark for the truck. While it was obviously popular, finding an F-150 of this age in such great condition is an almost impossible task, simply because these trucks saw heavy use day after day.
