Porsche and Audi collaborated on this rolling work of art.
The 1994 Audi RS2 Avant was the brainchild between Audi AG and Porsche, and it was the very first of many RS (Racing Sport) models produced. Here sits the only 1994 Audi RS2 Avant currently for sale in the United States, and it could be yours through Farland Classic Restoration!
This Audi RS2 is a five-door wagon with a high-performance 2.2-liter five-cylinder engine under the hood good for 311 horsepower and 308 ft/lb of torque. A six-speed manual transmission sends power down to all four wheels. The car sprints from 0-60 in a staggering 4.8 seconds, and it has a top speed of 160 miles per hour.
With just 55,000 miles (89,000 kilometers) on the clock, this RS2 Avant is in immaculate condition inside and out. The exterior is painted in Polar Silver, and the interior features silver and black Alcantara complete with Recaro seats. Porsche ‘Cup’ wheels sit on all four corners and partially hide huge red Brembo four-piston calipers. Both the brakes and suspension were designed by Porsche.
The sale of the car comes with documents including an Audi service book (in Italian) filled out through 2006. In addition, maintenance records from when the car had extensive mechanical work done in November of 2018, and European records that back up its low mileage.
Once the car was brought from overseas to Colorado, it was given a set of brand new tires and was pre-purchase inspection by Champagne Motor Works of Denver, known experts in the Audi 20V. In addition, they serviced the air conditioning, repaired a vacuum hose, and performed paintless dent repair.
