Straight from The Fast and Furious to your garage.
Remember the first time you watch The Fast and the Furious? There was that big buildup to the first drag race, and you see Ja Rule at the height of his career lining up with everyone else, driving this 1994 Acura Integra DC2. This legendary movie car is for sale, so you can relive the moment when Mr. Rule screams “Monica!”
You can’t mistake this car for anything else, thanks to the combination of aesthetic choices. The red paint contrasts with the bright yellow body graphics, and both match the red and yellow Momo racing seats inside. This car is very much a product of its time, as it’s wearing white wheels and enough corporate sponsor logos to make you think it might be a professional racecar.
For the most part the interior is stock, with the exception of the front seats and a red ribbed cover over the steering wheel. Considering how hot these cars became after the Fast and Furious franchise launched, many were crashed and scrapped. Back in the late 90s and early 2000s you would see these all over, although that certainly isn’t the case today.
Most people don’t know the Acura Integra actually launched back in 1986 and went through three generations. This 1994 model was the first year of the third generation, which you can quickly tell apart from the others because of the round headlights. Among the claims of fame for this car was a front fascia that was aerodynamically more efficient than most cars of its time. They were quite popular with tuners, hence why it was so highly featured in the first Fast and Furious movie. This car is distinct and would draw plenty of attention at import shows. If you want to own this piece of movie magic, you can purchase it through the Orlando Auto Museum.
