Here's your chance to buy every teenage car enthusiast's dream.
If you grew up in the '80s or '90s and you're reading this, then there's a solid chance that you had a poster of a Ferrari Testarossa taped or thumbtacked to your bedroom wall. Thanks to the upcoming Hoosier Classic auction from Earlywine Auctions, that childhood dream could become a reality with this gorgeous 1990 Ferrari Testarossa.
With 92,000 original miles on the odometer, this Testarossa has definitely been enjoyed over the last 30 years, but it's still in excellent condition, too. The Rossa Corsa paint and Nero (black) leather interior look absolutely flawless, and this car even comes with the original tool kit and owner's manual. This car has been treated well in its years coming off a major servicing in 2016 including new tires, battery and radio, and it would appear that the only modifications made to this car are a conversion to LED lighting and Xenon headlights.
One reason why the Testarossa is so iconic is its unique appearance. The slope nose and the massive side intakes are staples of this car's design, and those intakes are necessary to help keep the rear-mounted 4.9-liter flat-12 fed with plenty of fresh air. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox with a wonderfully gated shifter, which helps give the interior a racecar-like feel. The heavily bolstered seats help keep the occupants safely in place while the car is carving corners or hitting a top speed of 180 mph.
Be sure to register to bid for the Hoosier Classic auction taking place on Saturday November 9th.
