One-up all those Countach and Diablo owners with this amazing Rambo Lambo.
All classic and vintage Lamborghinis represent special opportunities to add to a collection, but the Lamborghini LM002 might be one of the rarest and most unique. Years before Lamborghini introduced its Urus performance SUV, the LM002 was the only way to enjoy the trails in Sant'Agata Bolognese's finest. These SUVs don't come up for sale very often, but Champion Motors of Syosset, New York has this ruggedly beautiful 1989 Lamborghini LM002 listed for $369,000 in excellent, original condition with surprisingly low miles.
Resembling the spawn of a Lamborghini Countach and an AM General Humvee, the LM002 is the biggest and baddest Lamborghini ever to exist. These mean SUVs had the styling of an off-road vehicle with the V12 engine of a Countach. Those tall and wide Pirelli off-road tires seem ready for any terrain, while the interior delivers a plush atmosphere to live up to the Lamborghini nameplate. The four-passenger interior features a sea of light beige leather complemented by dark brown leather accents, rich, glossy wood trim and a thick carpeted headliner.
With only 301 units ever produced, we don't imagine that many of these LM002s lived as hard of a life as they were designed for. But this one would appear to be in exceptional condition with just 58,000 kilometers (around 36,000 miles) showing on the odometer. On top of that, it has only had two owners since it was brand new, which means it hasn't been passed around from collection to collection. And now it's looking for a new home!
