Whether or not you’d take this beauty off-road is up to you though!
It goes without saying at this point that restomods are the best, when done right. Who wouldn’t want modern amenities in their favorite classic? And if that classic is a vintage off-roader, like this 1977 Ford Bronco, even better!
The 1977 Ford Bronco is a great representative of the budding vintage SUV market, as we’ve seen demand for these kinds of vehicles skyrocket over the last two years. Due to the demand, builders are making serious upgrades and restorations, like the ones made to this example by the motorsport professionals at Kelly-Moss Road and Race.
To honor the last year model of the first generation of the Ford Bronco, the experts at Kelly-Moss Road and Race performed a frame-off restoration with custom upgrades throughout. Painted in and out, including the frame, the team did all of the fabrication, paint, bodywork, and the final assembly. The 4x4 rolls on new wheels and tires, so it’s ready to go anywhere - be it a car show, or off the beaten path.
On top of the obvious show car touches, the old school cool SUV also got a fuel-injected engine, that’s mated to a modern automatic transmission - the fuel injected powertrain and electronics were borrowed from a 1988 Mustang donor car, and the a Painless wiring harness accompanies the swap. Otherwise, the interior is a great example of what a restomod should look like. The upholstery is custom, and it has a modern radio for your cruising pleasure.
No detail was overlooked during this built, and no bolt was untouched. Overall, more than $120,000 went into this build, but it’s for sale though Vicci for only $63,000 - that’s a lot of vehicle for not very much. The price is actually pretty low even if you leave out the restoration costs.
