On top of that, this Maserati went through a restoration process for the past ten years. Maserati debuted the 2+2 Indy or Tipo AM116 at the Geneva Motor Show in 1969. The car was built to celebrate two back-to-back wins by the Maserati 8CTF race cars for the Indianapolis 500 back in 1939 and 1940. The design of the Indy was also supposed to act as a bridge between the Mexico and Ghibli. Produced from 1969 to 1975, it’s rare to find a survivor today.
