In addition, correct SS 454 badges were added to the exterior, and the cowl hood that covers the engine bay fastens down by hood pins and cables. A correct blacked-out grille graces the front end, and factory-style 5-spoke chrome Mag wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial TA rubber sit on all four corners.
This classic Chevelle SS tribute is packing some serious heat with a big-block 454cui V8 stroker engine topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum Edelbrock intake. A performance camshaft certainly adds to the combination while providing that aggressive lope at idle. A four-speed manual transmission shifts power down to the 12-bolt rear end, and headers send gases down through the dual exhaust with chrome tips. Power steering allows for easy maneuvering, and power front disc brakes help bring all the power to a halt.
