The dyno sheets say it’s got over 550 horses!
If you’ve been in the market for an old-school Chevy truck, you might as well stop your search now. This 1969 Chevy C10 Pro-Touring truck is currently up for sale through Old Town Automobiles and could be yours today. At first glance, the truck looks really appealing to the eyes but that’s not all there is to it. Over $60,000 have been invested in this pro-tour C10 and it certainly shows. The current proven mileage is a little over 30,000; the truck has been tested and it is in great cosmetic and mechanical shape. All that’s missing is a new owner/driver.
This ’69 Chevy C10 is sitting proudly on a straight solid body with a slick chassis and a drool-worthy Viper red paint job with custom flames. There’s a four-inch steel cowl hood up front and a Gaylord custom bed cover out back. The entire build rolls with 20x10 and 18x8 billet wheels with CPP power four-wheel disc brakes with red powder coated calipers.
Under the hood is a 454 big-block engine mated to a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission with .64 fifth gear and dual disc clutch. That powerhouse combination delivers over 550 horsepower–and it’s got the dyno sheets to back that up. Other power goodies include a complete MSD ignition system, Brodax aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and an 800 CFM carburetor kit. It’s also got a 12-bolt 4:56 rear end with a Detroit locker, front and rear big sway bars, a quick ratio power steering box, and a 4 to 6-inch drop kit with Slammer shocks.
Open the doors and you’ll find a full custom ultra-leather interior complete with wool carpet, a custom console, a Lokar shifter, “ididit” tilt column, and Classic Instruments gauges. Other interior features include Painless wiring, NU Relics power windows, a Pioneer stereo with CD player, and Old Air Products heat and air conditioning system.
Take a peek at the top of the front windshield and you’ll see a decal proudly stating that this C20 completed the 2,800-mile 2019 Hot Rod Power Tour. Where will you take it next?
