Powered by the rare combination of a 327cui V8 connected to a four-speed manual transmission.
Tom Mack Classics is excited to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe to their online auction lineup for Friday, September 27th where this golden beauty is selling without reserve. A family car for years, this Chevelle Malibu was later sold to a Chevy collector who had it professionally refinished in the early 2000s.
With 61,000 original miles on the clock, this classic Chevelle Malibu features the rare combination of a 327cui V8 connected to a four-speed manual transmission. Rated at 275-horsepower, this Chevelle Malibu is ready to play.
Besides a gorgeous repaint in its factory color of Sierra Fawn, this shiny classic has been left untouched down to the rubber moldings and seals. The original black vinyl top covers the roof, and “dog dish” hubcaps cover the steel wheels and are wrapped with OEM-style redline tires. The floors and body panels all appear to be original to the car and unmolested.
Take a look inside and notice the walnut steering wheel on a tilt column, and a factory radio embedded in the dash with woodgrain accents. While the original radio is cool to have, most would prefer the soundtrack of the muscular Chevy small-block under the hood. The car still retains the factory air conditioning that keeps things cool, and Fawn-colored seats appear to be in excellent condition. Even the ashtray has been left unused since the car left the assembly line in 1967.
This car comes with extensive original paperwork to back up its history along with Protect-O-Plate from Parkland Chevrolet in Asheville, North Carolina.
While many classics are either built into full Nostalgia race cars or are in need of a desperate full restoration, it's hard to find a perfect example such as this 1967 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe. Be sure to visit Tom Mack Classics during the virtual auction to place your bid on this beauty.
