This rare beauty is sure to grab everyone's attention while cruising through town.
The Triumph TR3 B was only offered for the 1962 model year and only in America. The TR3 B was only available as a two-door, two-seater roadster. While the early versions were identical to the TR3A, later versions of the car were given the TR4 treatment with the engine and all-synchromesh gearbox. Frazier Motorcar Company is pleased to offer this rare and fully restored 1962 Triumph TR3 B Roadster. It's a classy car that demands utmost respect.
Blanketed in a brilliant red, this gleaming beauty is one of the best examples seen with incredibly straight body lines and panel fitment. This shining example has an integrity level that could compete at any Concours event. The TR3 Bs came with removable side curtains and a top that snaps on and off. A set of 15-inch wheels sit on all four corners, and this one appears to feature the optional spoke wheels. The car rides on a solid axle, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drum brakes out back. Also, a heater was optional.
The late-production TR3 B models were given a 2,138cc four-cylinder engine good for 104-horsepower, and the early models were powered by a 1,991cc four-cylinder engine, the same one that powers the TR3 A. All of the cars were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission with the option of overdrive. Everything starts right up and performs smoothly. This particular car features engine number TCF 1504 E.
Everything on this beauty looks as if it just left the assembly line. Everything appears in perfect condition such as all of the chrome components, the gauges, and the wheels.
