The Ford Courier is the a sedan delivery (a wagon without side windows) counterpart to the Ford Parklane two-door station wagon, and both are based on the four-door Ranch Wagon. This Courier looks amazing with an all-black paint job and flawless chrome work, and it has a mean stance to it thanks to an air suspension and those five-spoke Torque Thrust alloy wheels. According to the listing, only about 6,000 of these Couriers were built, and it's hard to imagine many being in much better condition than this one.
In 2007, this Courier underwent a frame-on restoration resulting in the straight body and reupholstered two-tone interior, but even though it's a slightly older restoration, that Raven Black paint job still looks deep and lustrous. At some point in this car's life, the factory 272 CID V8 was replaced by a slightly larger 292 CID V8 with Thunderbird 312 heads and a Holley 600 CFM carb. This engine sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic and a nine-inch Ford rear end that is geared for highway cruising.
