This truck was created on television, and now it's ready to show!
There are plenty of show vehicles that are up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson this year, but this 1937 Ford Pro-Street Pickup might be the only one that was created on a show. This truck was custom built on PowerNation TV's Trucks! show, and it will be auctioned off later today at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale through Speed Digital client, Crown Concepts. It's lot number 477, so click HERE to be sure you're registered to bid.
This pro-street pickup looks every bit the part of a show vehicle with a sleek fiberglass body from Downs Industries and a steel bed with gorgeous wood planks. The custom paint job is a show stopper with deep black and bright red accented by cool flames and a colorful green strip. The shaved doors mean you get to use the remote door openers to get into this Ford, and once inside, the custom interior is as eye-catching as the exterior with a cool wraparound dash low-back seats and power windows.
Backing up its custom, hot rod looks, this '37 Ford packs quite a punch under the hood with a Ford 347 CID Stroker V8 that sports aluminum heads and hydraulic rollers, and it packs a 415-horsepower punch! Power is sent through a Richmond six-speed manual transmission to a Currie nine-inch rear end with 4.30 gears and traction lock, and it will surely lay down some serious rubber thanks to those massive 20x16-inch rear tires! To make sure this truck is as fun to drive as it is to show off, it also has Baer four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors as well as an air conditioning system from Vintage Air.
Crown Concepts is a speed and tuning shop located in Tucson, Arizona, and it also sells a variety of classic and collector vehicles. If you miss out on this custom Ford truck, then be sure to check out other vehicles listed in the Crown Concepts inventory.
