Boasting a custom leather interior, performance-built ZZ4 small-block, and exotic maroon paint job, it’s everything you look for in one hot rod. The 3-Window Coupe sports Chevy’s pre-war styling that is sleeker and more contemporary than the Fords you see from that era. This example only gets better after receiving a complete custom built that focused on maximizing the swoopy body lines and classic appeal. It underwent a new restoration in 2018, which is made evident by the fresh Dark Toreador Maroon paint with a lustrous metallic element that highlights every curve of this Chevy. What’s more, this beauty includes color-matched detail work like the grille surround, headlight pods, and sport mirrors to tie the look together. The maroon exterior color is also a great background for the pink and magenta full pinstriping package. The chopped roof profile in conjunction with the bright Billet Specialties wheels (15/16-inch front/rear stagger) really give this Coupe that aggressive, drool-worthy stance.
The interior is breathtakingly beautiful as well, with even more custom touches. The dash, carpeting, and cabin details are finished in the same exterior maroon paint, which mixes well with the tan leather. Together, it makes for a truly timeless color combo. Cabin features include a Lokar shifter, Billet Specialties steering wheel on a tilt column, an R134a air conditioning system, power windows, bucket seats, and an AM/FM/CD stereo.
Apart from its good looks, this custom build is admirable in the performance department as well. A ZZ4 performance crate motor was installed during the restoration, which adds to the tidy and clean look of the underhood compartment. Power is made possible through a 350 cubic-inch V8 that's been enhanced with features like aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and tight-tuck headers. Beyond all that, this Chevrolet 3-Window Coupe also includes upgraded pulleys, a large electric fan, and an MSD ignition. Other highlights of this build include a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission, power disc brakes up front, and rack & pinion steering.
