It's the best of modern supercar performance.
This 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider is a true spectacle of high-performance engineering and luxury. Under the hood, it boasts a robust 4.3-liter V8, coupled with a gated six-speed manual transmission. Encased in a dazzling red exterior over sumptuous black leather, the Spider personifies the classic Ferrari aesthetic.
This impressive machine is equipped with a host of distinctive features such as the Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, 19″ Scuderia wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, and power-adjustable Daytona seats. The automatic climate control ensures comfort on any journey, while the carbon-fiber engine bay components add a touch of modern elegance.
The vehicle also flaunts a few tasteful modifications, such as a Challenge-style rear grille and Tubi exhaust headers, highlighting the owner's personalized touch. The F430 Spider's journey began at The Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, California, before making its way to Canada, and eventually landing in the hands of the current owner via BaT in June 2020.
Since then, the Spider has seen some crucial enhancements, including adjustments to the black convertible top, replacements of the front engine cover gasket, front and rear ball joints, and mounts for the engine and transmission. Despite these improvements and its history of travels, the car has a relatively low mileage of just 14,000 miles.
The F430 Spider boasts a factory finish in the vibrant Rosso Scuderia, accented with a black soft top that was carefully adjusted in October 2022. The exterior shines with xenon headlights, a body-color rear diffuser with carbon-fiber fins, and quadruple exhaust finishers that exit through the rear valance. The car also features refinished front air inlets and had paint protection film applied over the existing clear protective film in 2020.
The Spider sits on 19″ Scuderia wheels fitted with 235/35 front and 285/35 rear Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, mounted in 2020. The braking system houses red six- and four-piston calipers with black Ferrari lettering over cross-drilled carbon ceramic rotors. Aftermarket shock braces were removed in 2020, and a brake fluid flush was performed during an annual service in 2022.
Inside, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are wrapped in black leather with red stitching, while carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard, console, and door panels. A CD stereo, navigation, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, a gated shifter with a carbon-fiber shift knob, and power windows and door locks all contribute to a comfortable and engaging ride.
The steering wheel, trimmed in leather and carbon fiber, features an engine start/stop button and a manettino dial for selecting various driving modes. The 4.3-liter DOHC V8 engine under the hood, designed with Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system, churns out an impressive 490 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 353 lb-ft of torque at 5,250 rpm.
Included in the sale are the original window sticker showing initial delivery to The Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, California, as well as manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a car cover. Boasting a total suggested retail price of $262,986, this 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider is a testament to the craftsmanship and engineering prowess that the Ferrari brand is known for worldwide.
