A 15,542-mile original 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Sport Coupe will cross the block with Vintage Certification "Legend" status.
One of the finest unrestored first-generation Camaros is heading to auction, and collectors are taking notice. A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Sport Coupe, showing just 15,542 miles and offered in remarkably original condition, will soon cross the virtual block as part of The Carolina Collection’s spring offerings.

Finished in Dover White with a black vinyl top and black custom interior, this Norwood-built Camaro combines Chevrolet’s coveted RS and SS packages and still wears its factory-issued Uniroyal Tiger Paw white-letter tires. Under the hood is the original L48 350 cu-in Turbo-Fire V8, factory-rated at 300 horsepower and paired with a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and 3.31:1 Positraction rear end.

According to documentation, including the original bill of sale and Protect-O-Plate, the Camaro was purchased new by Nathan Miller from Dick Fencl Chevrolet in Oak Park, Illinois, on April 29, 1969. Its high degree of preservation earned it “Legend” status from Vintage Certification in 2004, with a near-perfect score of 96 out of 100.

The Z22 Rally Sport trim includes the signature hidden headlights, bright exterior accents, and RS badging. Other factory options include air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, tinted glass, dual exhaust, AM/FM radio with 8-track player, center console with Strato-bucket seats, and the full instrument gauge package.
Broad Arrow Auctions is handling the consignment, and the vehicle is presented as free from major imperfections, with original paint verified by meter and confirmed original drivetrain components throughout.
This car stands as a rare benchmark for unrestored American muscle and presents an extraordinary opportunity for collectors looking to acquire a true survivor with impeccable provenance. See it here.
