Three classic 1970 Mopar muscle cars, including a Cuda 440, Challenger R/T, and Road Runner Convertible, are headed to auction in 2025.
Three highly sought-after 1970 Mopar muscle cars are set to cross the auction block at the GAA Classic Car Auction in February 2025. The lineup includes a Plymouth Cuda 440, a Dodge Challenger R/T, and a Plymouth Road Runner Convertible, each meticulously restored and boasting original high-performance specifications.

Among the standout offerings is a 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440, finished in high-impact Tor-Red with black vinyl top and sport stripes. With 68,000 actual miles, this numbers-matching example features a 440 CID 6-barrel V8 engine, a four-speed Mopar A833 manual transmission, and a Sure Grip rear differential. The coupe, originally sold in Costa Mesa, California, retains its broadcast sheet, window sticker, and original owner’s manual, adding to its collector appeal.

Also hitting the auction is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, finished in bold Banana Yellow and equipped with the V-Code 440 CID Six Pack with Drag Pack engine. With 69,000 actual miles, this fully restored Challenger features an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and a factory leather interior. Additional highlights include a Rallye Pack instrument cluster with a tachometer and Rallye clock, as well as an AM/FM 8-track player, making it a prime example of Dodge’s peak muscle car era.

Rounding out the trio is a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible, powered by a 440 CID engine with a Six Pack carburetor and a four-speed transmission. Finished in FE5 Rallye Red with an all-new white interior and top, this restored classic features a Pistol Grip shifter, Dana 4.10 rear end, Air Grabber induction system, and rally gauges with a tachometer. Chrome and stainless details have been refurbished, and it sits on Poly Glass tires with a rear wing, enhancing its factory-correct presentation.
With their rare configurations, low mileage, and period-correct restorations, these three Mopars are expected to attract serious collectors when they hit the auction stage in Greensboro, North Carolina. The event promises to be a significant moment for muscle car enthusiasts looking to own a piece of Mopar history.
