Classic Ford Mustang coupe restomod packs a Paxton-supercharged 409 V8 and modern upgrades, offered at no reserve.
A radically reimagined 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is set to cross the auction block without reserve, showcasing the enduring appeal of America’s original pony car—now updated with modern performance and custom flair.

Offered from The Burnyzz Collection, this Mustang presents a bold departure from its factory roots. What began life as a two-door hardtop powered by a 289 four-barrel V8 has been transformed into a pro-touring restomod with serious muscle under the hood.

Power comes from a 409-cubic-inch V8 paired with a Paxton supercharger and Vortech Maxflow race bypass valve, controlled by an MSD ignition and boost management system. The engine sends power through a rebuilt Ford C6 three-speed automatic transmission to a Ford 9-inch rear axle with four-link rear suspension. The setup is finished off with a custom exhaust and Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners.
The Mustang wears a modern gray metallic paint finish over a vivid bright blue interior with custom leather bucket seats. Inside, a Carroll Shelby–signed glove box and padded dash with Shelby American plate pay tribute to the car’s performance heritage. A full AutoMeter Sport-Comp II gauge set and wood-rimmed steering wheel round out the driver-focused cabin.

Riding on Billet Specialties chrome wheels—18 inches up front and massive 20s at the rear—this Mustang grips the pavement with Pirelli and Firestone performance tires, emphasizing both looks and handling. LED headlights, a performance hood, and a front spoiler enhance its aggressive stance.
Included with the sale are a full history file with receipts and documentation of the build. With no known imperfections and a no-reserve status, this supercharged Mustang offers bidders a chance to own a turn-key custom classic that blends 1960s style with 21st-century muscle. See it here.
