It's going to be hard to find a better GTO glory example than this Pontiac.

As car enthusiasts, there are certain cars that will stop us dead in our tracks due to its sheer beauty along with admiration of the amount of blood, sweat, and tears that were endured on one piece of rolling art. This meticulously restored 1966 Pontiac GTO is one of those cars.

No proper collection is complete without a proper Royal Bobcat modified car in their garage. This Royal 1966 Pontiac GTO is one of those cars. The story behind the Royal Bobcat conversation is that once received at the Pontiac dealership, it got a special option package. You’ll note that it’s received the Royal treatment by the special badging, to hat tip that there’s something extra special about the car.

In addition to being a Royal Bobcat car, this Pontiac GTO received a frame-off restoration. It has a numbers matching drivetrain and original 389 cubic inch V8 that pushes out 360-horsepower, which is backed by the original 4-speed manual transmission. It rides on Hurst wheels with Gladiator spinners, moved by a Saf-T-Track 3.55 differential.

It’s a triple black example with wood sport steering wheels and shift knob. Other options include a power driver seat, power steering, and power brakes.

There's no denying the beauty of a classic GTO, and this one is up there with one of the finest examples we have ever seen. The hard work and attention to detail is obvious by looking at the photos. We can only imagine gawking over it in person.
