A meticulously maintained 1954 Nash-Healey Le Mans Coupe, one of only 90 produced, combines Italian design with American engineering.
A 1954 Nash-Healey Le Mans Coupe, one of approximately 90 examples produced in its final year of production, is now available on Bring A Trailer. This rare and elegant grand tourer embodies a unique collaboration between American engineering and Italian design, featuring coachwork by Pinin Farina and a robust inline-six engine.
Finished in platinum metallic over red leather upholstery, this example was repainted under prior ownership and retains its classic features, including a faux hood scoop, Pinin Farina fender badges, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The 108-inch wheelbase coupe rides on 15″ steel wheels with chrome wire covers and Coker Classic whitewall radial tires installed in December 2024. A matching spare with a Goodyear bias-ply tire is stored in the trunk.
Under the hood lies a "Le Mans Dual Jetfire" 252ci inline-six engine, rated at 140 horsepower. Recent service in late 2024 included a valve adjustment, carburetor overhauls, and the replacement of fuel hoses, engine mounts, spark plugs, and an accessory belt. The engine is paired with a Borg-Warner three-speed manual transmission featuring overdrive. Compression test results confirm the engine's excellent health.
The cabin exudes mid-century luxury with its red leather bench seat, color-coordinated carpets, and a factory AM radio. A banjo-style steering wheel fronts gold-colored instrumentation, including a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer (currently inoperable). Recent repairs include a functioning horn and refreshed interior components.
This Nash-Healey includes manufacturer’s literature, a 1952 Le Mans race summary, and service records detailing its recent maintenance. With just 45k miles on the odometer and a history that highlights its heritage, this Le Mans Coupe represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history that merges timeless design with American innovation.
