A custom 1947 Buick Super Convertible restomod, offered by The Burnyzz Collection, will soon cross the block blending its unmistakable 1940s aesthetic with state-of-the-art performance and comfort.
Retaining its original sweeping bodylines and signature art deco “waterfall” grille, the Buick still commands attention with its broad-shouldered stance and chrome accents. However, the heart of this classic has undergone a radical transformation. The factory 248-cubic-inch straight-eight engine has been replaced with a fuel-injected 6.0-liter GM Vortec V8, paired to a robust 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
Underneath, the updates continue with a full Air Ride suspension system, rack-and-pinion power steering, and modern four-wheel disc brakes. These enhancements bring the nearly 80-year-old convertible up to modern driving standards while preserving its timeless exterior charm.
The cabin is equally refined, featuring supple brown leather upholstery, Vintage Air climate control, and a discreetly integrated JVC KS-RF150 stereo system. While the interior has been fully customized for contemporary comfort, its styling remains in harmony with the Buick’s original upscale character.
The exterior is finished in a period-correct hue, with only minor blemishes—such as light chipping atop the windshield frame—reported by the seller. Despite these slight imperfections, the vehicle is said to be in excellent condition overall and ready for immediate enjoyment.
