Which truck will you add to your collection?
The vintage truck and SUV market is absolutely on fire. There’s more demand for these vehicles now than ever before, and demand is outpacing trucks and SUVs currently for sale. In addition, many of these vehicles weren’t well cared for during their time, so finding a good example is even harder to come by. Currently on the docket of the upcoming Cord And Kruse Auction, are several attractive collectible trucks. Check out some of the highlights.
1959 Ford F-100 Custom
Powering this truck is a 223 cubic inch V6 engine, which is backed by a MD 3-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and the transmission have been rebuilt, and many other mechanical parts have been rebuilt, or replaced. It has a custom dual exhaust and custom cab. See it here.
1955 Dodge Series C3
A Hemi 351 cubic inch engine moves the wheels of this truck. A manual 4-speed transmission is backing the engine, and it received a complete restoration several years ago. It was once kept in a museum, and you can see it here.
1981 Chevrolet C10 RestoMod
Don’t underestimate this truck if you happen to see it on the road, and make sure you respect it if you’re lucky enough to slide behind the wheel. It is powered by a 650-horsepower twin turbo 5.3-liter LS engine, which is backed by a rebuilt automatic 400 turbo transmission. It’s full of upgrades, see it here.
