Ford’s F1 truck platform has been an industry standard setter since its initial creation decades ago. This F1 pickup truck is the pinnacle of what started an entire movement. Such features like a distinct front bumper, step side bed, and to top it all off the vehicle was made in 1948. However, Chevy had the last laugh with this one as it now sports a 5.3-liter V8 engine and a lot of modern pieces making this frankenstein pretty intense.

Finally, both of those trucks pale in comparison to this 1941 Chevrolet C10. Most people probably don’t know that one of America’s favorite platforms was built in the 1940s. Just like the other vehicles, this automobile has a V8 engine but this time it has 350 cubic inches of displacement. Together, these trucks are the greatest utility vehicles ever made by an American brand which is why you should add them to your collection.
