This 1967 Porsche 911 coupe was purchased new in Germany by a member of the US armed forces. By the 1970s the car was imported to the U.S. and was sold to its current owner in 1976. Finished in its factory shade of Polo Red over a black leatherette interior and powered by its numbers-matching 2.0-liter flat-six engine, this car is fully representative of what made the 911 such a legendary model.
The car has been well preserved and maintained over the last 45-years. About 30 years ago, all of the parts on these cars that historically struggle with corrosion were replaced and the car was refinished. As of recently, the 5-speed manual transaxle was rebuilt, the engine was resealed, and an inclusive tune up was performed.
