This custom truck is ready to show and go!
When it comes to vintage trucks, there are few that are as stylish as GM's Task Force series truck, which were built from 1955 through 1960. In stock form, these trucks were timeless, but they were also blank slates for customization including the gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet 3100 you see here. This custom Chevy truck was obviously built to high-quality standards both inside and out, and it is currently up for grabs through the RM | Online Only Palm Beach Auction.
On the outside, this truck wears an eye-catching shade of orange metallic paint, and this is complemented with chrome bumpers, shaved door handles and a wood-lined cargo bed. Adding to the custom look and stance, there are also a set of staggered five-spoke wheels (18 inches in the front and 22 inches in the rear) wrapped in low-profile tires.
Matching the exterior, the interior has been fully customized with a wide center console, Dolphin gauges and low-back bucket seats with a two-tone ostrich-style leather. Tucked beautifully into the clean, custom engine compartment is a small-block Chevy engine fancied up with lots of chrome goodies including the air intake and Edelbrock valve covers. Best of all, this truck is a brand-new build with just 86 miles showing on the odometer.
The RM | Online Only Palm Beach Auction opened on March 20 with staggered lot closures running March 25-27. Bidding for this truck ends on March 26, so be sure you're registered to bid.
