Built By D&D Specialty Cars, this LS3 powered is the perfect car from all worlds.
Few cars rival the C2 Corvette as far as beauty, especially when it comes to American sports cars. The Stingray design was the prefect evolution from the C1, adding a more muscular, aggressive feel to match the respectable performance. This striking 1966 Chevy Corvette Sting Ray gives you even more excitement, thanks to the upgrades using modern engineering.
This Chevy Corvette is especially fantastic because this is a restomod, basically imagine a beautiful classic car with the handling, power, along with all the fix-ins and amenities that we’ve all come to enjoy in the past 30 years or so. This car is boasting a screaming modern GM 6.2-liter LS3 V8 under the hood pushing out an incredible 430-horsepower and 425 ft/lbs of torque. That insane engine has a compression ratio of 10.7:1, that's pretty incredible even by today's standards.
Backing the powerful GM LS3 crate engine is a 5-speed manual GM Tremec transmission. It rolls on a custom suspension and gets stopping power from Wilwood disc brakes. It also has Vintage Air, factory style side pipes, and aluminum radiator. It has a Mercedes leather interior, and is painted in PPG paint. It was the subject of a rotisserie restoration, where it also gained custom billet wheels, which are wrapped in custom fit tires. Other parts were custom designed specifically for this vehicle.
