American Muscle is back, highlighting an exciting new Mopar build.
As one of the leading aftermarket Mustang parts providers, AmericanMuscle started out in 2003. Since then, Dodge revitalized the muscle car market and the list of aftermarket parts for the Challenger and Charger models has expanded. With that so did AmericanMuscle’s aftermarket parts catalog. The Challenger was added in 2018 and the Charger in 2020 and as of today AmericanMuscle offers fast shipping of some of the most sought-after parts and accessories for the Mustang, Challenger, and Charger.
In an effort to inspire the community to build even more incredible custom American muscle cars, AmericanMuscle created its popular “Customer Builds” YouTube series. Their latest episode gives enthusiasts an exclusive look at a 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack with a few small but impactful modifications, resulting in a stunning ride. Watch as AM host, Adam Maqboul discusses existing and future upgrades with this awesome Scat Packs owner, Bennett Sheppard.
Wanting to get a little more of an aggressive sound for his wife's ride, Sheppard settled on Corsa’s Xtreme Cat-Back Exhaust. However, he wanted to take the modification to the next level with a set of headers. AM’s tech guide helped to narrow down the options and gave Sheppard the information he needed to make an informed decision before finally going with Kooks Longtube headers. With such changes, it is always best to tune the vehicle for best results, so Sheppard also ordered an i3 DiabloSport preloaded tuner. According to Sheppard, the results were instant and incredible. A twin-screw Kenne Bell supercharger is in the plans for the R/T Scat Pack’s future. For more information on this awesome Mopar build, check out Sheppard’s AM build profile here.
