Low-mileage and rare, this Jeep is ready to join your car collection.
People go wild over Jeep pickup trucks, but most know nothing about examples like this 1979 Jeep J10 Golden Eagle. It was a super rare vehicle even in its day, and now you have the chance to preserve that cool history. Raleigh Classic is offering this extremely well-maintained Jeep, which is a truly exceptional find.
Jeep offered the Golden Eagle option package for $200 beyond the base package, but it was only offered from 1977 to 1983. Just like in this example, originally the package added an eagle decal to the hood. The package also came with larger tires, a rear-mounted spare tire, spare tire lock, wheel lip extensions, the Convenience group, the Décor group, a tachometer, plus carpeting.
This example was a recent subject of a frame-off restoration, completed by a 40 year Jeep veteran. It has only 25K actual miles on it since new. It retains the original beige denim bucket seat interior, original Goodyear Tracker AT tires, and it’s refinished in its factory correct Saddle Brown Metallic paint.
Powering the 1979 Jeep J10 Golden Eagle is a 360 cubic inch V8 engine that’s backed by a Hydra-Matic transmission with Quadra-Trac 4-wheel drive system with 3.54:1 axle. It has AM/FM radio with CB, HD cooling, passenger side mirror, tinted glass, factory front brush guard and factory roll bar. See more here.
